OAK BROOK – The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County invites anglers to develop their skills for river fishing during "Fishing Flowing Waters" from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fullersburg Woods Forest Preserve in Oak Brook.

Anglers will meet at the parking lot near Graue Mill at 3800 York Road to take to the waters of Salt Creek and discover the differences between fishing in lakes and rivers. Guests will learn how to read a river's current, adjust techniques to conditions and wade safely.

"Fishing Flowing Waters" is free and is open to anglers ages 12 and up. Children under 18 must be with an adult.

Registration is required by calling 630-933-7248. Anglers need to bring their own tackle; light to medium spinning gear is recommended.
