Downtown Glen Ellyn included on National Register of Historic Places

GLEN ELLYN – In recognition of Glen Ellyn's rich history, the downtown business district has been chosen for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places by the Illinois Historic Sites Advisory Council.

Other areas in Glen Ellyn already on the register include the Main Street Residential Historic District, which runs from Cottage Avenue to Hawthorne Boulevard, as well as Stacy's Tavern Museum and various historic and architecturally significant residences.
