Moore: The Elmhurst Public Library has a new website
The Elmhurst Public Library (EPL) is always seeking to meet the technological needs of the Elmhurst community. We offer 80 public-use computers, hundreds of eBook titles, more than 50 eReaders pre-loaded with books and magazines, online music, online databases and more. Our online presence is another area where we try to respond to patrons’ needs.
So on July 17, we launched the library’s new and improved website. The new site features a more streamlined design that helps users navigate all that EPL has to offer online.
Improvements to the new site include larger text for easier viewing, more menus and tabs for direct links and a better-organized layout for simpler navigation. A new feature to the site includes an updated main menu, with entire categories that display at once, like About Us, Kids, and 24/7 eLibrary. At the bottom of every page of the website is the “How Can We Help?” menu containing popular and often referenced links, like business services or homework help, or popular links to eBooks, eAudiobooks, Freegal music and more.
