Former La Grange Park Library president takes over Illinois CPA Society

LA GRANGE PARK – Former president of the La Grange Park Library District Todd Shapiro was announced as the new president and CEO of the Illinois CPA Society.

Shapiro served as the society's chief financial officer since 1998 and interim CEO since January. Prior to joining the organization, he was director of finance for Unilever, a multi-national consumer package goods company. Shapiro is a current board member and past president of the Lyons Township High School Board of Education. 

The Illinois CPA Society is the top professional association representing CPAs in Illinois. Founded in 1903, ICPAS is the fourth largest state society in the nation with more than 23,000 members.
