Park patrol grant awarded to La Grange Park

LA GRANGE PARK – The Community Park District of La Grange Park has received a $3,195 state grant to expand its Park Patrol program, which started last year.

The grant, which is funded by the Illinois Youth Recreation Corps Program, will help the district run the program through Aug. 31. Park Patrol employees work evenings and weekends to perform light maintenance work, to assist groups that rent parks and to monitor activity in the parks.
