The Community House to host several summer activities

HINDALE – In the next few weeks, The Community House, 415 West Eighth St., will be offering several activities for children and teens.

Archery will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 24 through Aug. 14 for kids ages 8 and up. All equipment is provided and the class is appropriate for beginner and intermediate level archers.

Dodge Ball and Kick Ball Camp is from noon to 1 p.m. July 29 through Aug. 2 for kids in grades one through six. Participants will learn the basic fundamentals of dodge ball and kick ball in a noncontact environment.

The Chicago Bulls Basketball Camp will be coming to the Community Center in two sessions. The rookies camp for ages 6 to 8 will meet from 1 to 4 p.m. July 29 to Aug. 2 and again from Aug. 5 to Aug. 9. The veterans camp for ages nine to 12 is from 1 to 4 p.m. July 29 to Aug. 2 and Aug. 5 to Aug. 9.

The Community House will also be hosting several trips to destinations such as the Chicago Segway Tour on July 22, Raging Waves Waterpark Aug. 1, Chicago Bears training camp Aug. 7 and NBC 5 News tour Aug. 13.
