Outback Steakhouse to hold fundraiser for Friedreich's Ataxia research, Villa Park resident

VILLA PARK – On Tuesday night, Outback Steakhouse in Villa Park, 100-28 E. Roosevelt Road, will host a fundraiser for Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance.

The restaurant will donate 15 percent of all dinner checks from 4 to 10 p.m. to the Friedreich's Ataxia research organization. Guests must present a fundraising flier to their servers for the donation to be applied. The flier must be printed in advance and can be found on the Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance website at curefa.org.

Villa Park resident, Nicole Kramer, 19, has Friedreich's Ataxia and will be at the event with her family. On Sunday, Kramer will participate in the second annual Ride Ataxia fundraising bike ride in Channahon, Ill.
