Grant provides new summer jobs

ADDISON – New summer jobs have been created at the Addison Park District thanks to an Illinois Youth Recreation Corps Grant. The grant was also given to 76 other recreation and conservation agencies. 

To be employed in these new jobs, applicants must be between 16 to 19 years old, and have not been previously employed by Addison Park District. The positions will be available for the rest of the summer, with employment ending Aug. 31.

Interested teens can apply for the positions of centennial maintenance aide, facility center aide, gymnastics aide, playground leaders, preschool aide, recreation program aide in childcare, parks department grounds keeper and links and tees golf facility grounds keeper.
