Summer blood drive continues Thursday

LOMBARD – The second day of the Village of Lombard's quarterly, community blood drive is happening from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 11 at the Westin Hotel and Conference Center, 70 Yorktown Center. The is the first time the blood drive has ran for two consecutive days.

All donors will receive coupons to Culver's in Lombard, be entered into a drawing for two overnights stays at the Westin and Yorktown gift cards, and be entered into a drawing to win four White Sox tickets and parking pass.

Walk-ins are accepted during the drive, and anyone with questions can contact Carol Bauer, the village's blood drive coordinator, at 630-620-5712.

The first day of the drive was held at Village Hall and Yorktown Center.

The fourth and final blood drive of 2013 will be held in September.
