Published: Thursday, July 11, 2013 5:40 p.m. CST

ELMHURST – Cafe Amano may be located in downtown Elmhurst, but that won't stop its head chef from throwing a traditional Maine lobster boil.

Executive Chef Marco Conte and his team will boil 1.5 pound Maine lobsters outside in pots set up on the sidewalk regardless of the weather. Italian-style coleslaw, corn on the cob and boiled red skin potatoes will also be served.

Guests will be seated either on the patio or in the dining room for the lobster boil from 3 until 10 p.m. July 20 at Cafe Amano, 105 South York Road.

From 6 to 9 p.m. there will be live music. The cost is $30 a person. The restaurant is also taking reservations for large parties, and all guests must reserve their lobster by noon July 19.

To reserve a lobster call Cafe Amano at 630-279-9333.
