BROOKFIELD – Three Brookfield businesses were recently reportedly burgarlized, according to police.

Brookfield police received a call at about 7:38 a.m. on Tuesday reporting that a burglary had occurred at a commercial building located at 9408 47th St.

The building's owner told police nothing appeared to be missing from two upstairs offices on the second floor of the building.

The overhead garage door on the east side of the building appeared to have been forced open using a car. The door was found with black scuff marks on it.

The building owner said the occupants typically leave their office doors open and there were no signs of force entry, besides damage to the garage.

Several items were later reported missing, including between six and eight rolls of copper valued around $3,800 per roll, seven to 10 iPhones, $2,500 in gift cards and a 1999 Lexus RX 300 that was parked in the garage.
