The Illinois disaster declaration covers residents of 35 counties, including DuPage, Cook and Will, whose homes and property were damaged by flooding from April 15 to May 5.

People with flood-damaged property can apply by calling 800-621-3362 or visiting: www.disasterassistance.gov
