Lemont car show offers opportunity to help wild animals

LEMONT – The Lemont Classic Car Club will hold a dollar car night to benefit the Big Run Wolf Ranch during its weekly Saturday cruise night from 6 to 9 p.m. at Christ Community Church, 13400 S. Bell Road, Lemont.

The ranch will display its animals at the event after 6:30 p.m.

Big Run Wolf Ranch is a federally licensed nonprofit educational facility in Lockport, specializing in North American wildlife. Animals that the ranch has rescued include several wolves and coyotes, a bear, a cougar, a groundhog, a skunk, two raccoons, a porcupine and two horses.
