York's Toohey commits to play basketball for Air Force

Duke big man averaged 8.3 points and 6.8 rebounds last season

ELMHURST – York forward Frank Toohey committed to continue his basketball career at Air Force Academy, according to Duke coach Vince Doran.

The senior to-be emerged as a top interior threat for the Dukes last season and seemed to get stronger as the season went on. The 6-foot-8 forward/center averaged 8.3 points and was York's top rebounder with 6.8 per game. He led the team in charges with 13.

Last season Air Force went 18-14 overall with an 8-8 record in the Mountain West. The Falcons were knocked out in the second round of the College Insider.com Postseason Tournament.
