WEST CHICAGO – Gallery 200 in West Chicago welcomes the varied work of Kathy Steere in an exhibit titled "Facets of Kathy Steere" that will run until July 28.

This will be Steere's first art exhibit. Her work embraces various media, from wooden sculptures to murals.

Steere also offers "Learn to Draw" classes at the West Chicago Public Library District that teach students how to use lines, shading, shadows and perspective.

Steere's connection to Gallery 200 came as an invitation from Gallery coordinator and West Chicago Cultural Arts Commission member Heide Morris for Steere to teach her popular drawing classes at the gallery.
