On behalf of the Lemont Park District, the Village of Lemont and the Lemont Township, I want to thank everyone who participated in our annual July 3 Fireworks Extravaganza.

Through strong intergovernmental cooperation, we are pleased to announce that our agencies have committed to extend our Fireworks Extravaganza for an additional three years.

We appreciate the strong unity of our partnering agencies: the Village of Lemont; Lemont Township; Lemont Police Department; Lemont Fire Protection District; Lemont Emergency Management Agency; Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A and the surrounding communities who sent additional police and fire personnel to keep our event safe.

The Park District Board of Commissioner's want to acknowledge the commitment of our great staff who work tirelessly in the promotion and production of this event: Louise Egofske; Dawn Banks; Carrie Dellamano; Ryan Jasztrab; Kim Passini; Linda Straka; Pam Carter; Carlene Dickman; Vicki Brassil; Larry Rizzo; Rueben Caballero; Colleen Ganzer; Fred Howard; Bill Kopas; Kyle Murray; Ken Novak; Jason Khuen; Toni Paolini; Karen Perkey; Jen Saylor and Jeff Toman.

Special thank you's go out to this year's co-chairs, Lauren Hanson and Anthony Morelli, for an outstanding job!

An event of this scope would not have been possible without the support of our participating sponsors: ZLan Systems; The Tap House; Lemont Park Foundation; Pooper Scoopers & Watch Dog Pet Sitting; All American Basketball Academy; Lemont Fireflies; At's A Nice Pizza; Sweets and Treats; Tidal Crave; Totura's Sausage; Yo Low Glow Products and Record-a-Hit Entertainment.

We also want to thank GAC Entertainment, B&B Productions and our headliner band, Centerfold, for providing us with great entertainment leading up to our impressive aerial display.

At a time when we celebrate our country's independence, let us not forget the men and women from the Lemont area that are stationed at posts throughout the world fighting for our freedom and that of others.
