Fight Card to come to Cicero Stadium on July 20

CICERO – Fight Card Entertainment in collaboration with PowerFights will be hosting their 50th event at the historical Cicero Stadium at 1909 S. Laramie in Cicero on Saturday, July 20, to showcase a professional and amateur card.

The main event will feature a match that took two years in the making with former FIGHTCARD 170-pound champion Danny Morales (3-0) to face the original No. 1 contender Maurice Jackson (2-1).

The co-main event will be a homecoming for Guillermo “El Gallo De Negro” Serment, fighting close to his hometown in Cicero Stadium. Serment will face Indiana’s standout, Terry House.

Other professional fighters to face off on the card are featherweights Lance Surma vs. Pedro Velaso and Bobby Moffett vs. Horacia Gutierrez, who has come from Mexico to make an impact on his MMA career.

A headlined undercard rescheduled match-up between heavyweights Daniel “The Predator” James vs. Gabe Rodriguez from Elgin. The winner of this fight will get a professional contract for an upcoming event.

RELOADED 2013 will also highlight the new and upcoming talent in the preliminary fights that will kick off the show at 5:00 p.m. Fighters from Top Notch, Victory Martial Arts, EKF MMA, Team 110, Team Colon will represent to move these fighters in the rankings.

FIGHTCARD & PowerFights will host an open media press conference on Wednesday, July 10, at Paisans Restaurant at 6226 Ogden Ave. in Berwyn at 7:30 p.m. Food and refreshments for media offered.

Tickets are on sale now. General admission starts at $35, silver seats at $45 and cageside at $55. Doors open at 4:00 p.m., preliminary fights to start at 5:00 p.m., followed by undercard match ups. Call for tickets at 773-745-1112 or go online at www.FightCard.net.
