Christmas in July for Connection of Friends, People's Resource Center

WHEATON – Connection of Friends, Hope Presbyterian and Southminister Presbyterian churches have organized a Christmas in July food drive to benefit the People's Resource Center in Wheaton, according to a news release from the volunteer program.

The churches are collecting donations throughout July. Connection of Friends will be open July 19 and 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is located at 1771 S. Wiesbrook Rd. in Wheaton. Donors are asked to call the COF office when outside at 630-260-0922.

The PRC has been providing services, including a food pantry, to DuPage County for decades and serves more than 31,000 residents, according to the release. To find out more about COF, visit www.connectionoffriends.org.
