Lombard woman charged with sexual exploitation of a child
LOMBARD – A Lombard woman is facing several charges, including sexual exploitation of a child, after allegedly showing her body parts to a teenager while in a car together, according to the Lombard Police Department.
Jacqueline Garbacz, 47, of Lombard was charged with sexual exploitation of a child, obstructing a peace officer, aggravated assault on a police officer and disorderly conduct June 19 in the parking lot of an apartment building at 2211 S. Stewart Ave., police said.
A neighbor had called police earlier in the evening to report a group of suspicious teenagers who were possibly taking items from cars, said Lt. Cyndy Abenante.
When officers arrived and talked with the suspects, they learned that a 16-year-old boy was in a car with Garbacz, who was highly intoxicated and showing the boy her body parts, according to police.
Garbacz was taken into custody by police and charged. The reason she received a charge of sexual exploitation of a child was because the teenager in the car with her was still a minor, Abenante said.
