CLARENDON HILLS – The Clarendon Hills Park District's annual summer fishing derby will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. July 20 at the Prospect Park Pond.

Open to Clarendon Hills residents of all ages, this catch-and-release event will offer trophies for the longest fish caught in each age bracket. There is a two-pole limit in effect for the derby, and all participants are asked to bring a bucket out to the pond.

The summer fishing derby is free of charge, and registration will take place on the morning of the derby at the Clarendon Hills Park District tent set up adjacent to the Prospect Park Pond.
