Elmhurst residents, business owners can still apply for FEMA aid

ELMHURST – Residents and business owners of Elmhurst still have time left to apply for FEMA aid.

The deadline to apply for assistance from the April 2013 storm disaster is July 9. While the Disaster Recovery Center in Lisle is no longer operating, residents can still apply for FEMA aid online or by telephone. The disaster assistance website outlines the type of assistance available and provides a questionnaire to determine what programs for which residents and business owners may qualify.

Visit www.disasterassistance.gov or call 1-800-621-FEMA to apply by July 9.
