Glen Ellyn volunteer honored by Girl Scouts

GLEN ELLYN – Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana honored a Glen Ellyn resident this spring for her volunteer work with the organization.

Christina Gerber of Glen Ellyn received the Honor Pin, making her one of several volunteers recognized whose combined service hours reached more than 22,450.

Adults 18 years and older are invited to volunteer with the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana. Opportunities exist for event facilitators, troop leaders and more. Those interested should email volunteerinterest@girlscoutsgcnwi.org or call 1-855-ILOVEGS (456-8347).
