Facial reconstruction of man found in 2010 Herrick Lake case released
WHEATON – A man whose remains were found in April 2010 at the Herrick Lake Forest Preserve in unincorporated Wheaton now has a face.
The DuPage County Sheriff's Office has released a new digital facial reconstruction created from the remains by FACES Labs at Louisiana State University, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. The photo shows that the remains are of a male, possibly of Hispanic origin, between the age of 45 and 65 years old with a very distinctive dental pattern.
The original release from 2010 says that the victim was possibly wearing an extra large Hanes gray sweat shirt with a logo on the left front saying "Little Nicky." At the time the sex and race of the victim was unknown.
