Published: Thursday, June 27, 2013 6:27 p.m. CST

ELMHURST – Hollywood is moving to the Midwest and looking for aspiring actors.

The North Hollywood Acting Studio's next class session begins July 9. Instructors Nicholas Celozzi of Elmhurst and Grant Strokes of Naperville know all about Hollywood filmmaking, acting and producing.

With three feature films in pre-production and previous experience as the professor of film at Act One Studios and Conservatory in Chicago, Celozzi wants to coach and mentor suburban students. Strokes has performed on-stage, in television and in film and won the Best Lead Actor award at the 2011 New York City International Film Festival.

Students should be 17 and older, but slightly younger students will be accepted based on experience. Classes will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elmhurst College and North Central College in Naperville although neither college is affiliated with North Hollywood Acting Studio.
