Cicero offiers low-cost school physicals to residents

CICERO – Cicero residents are urged to take advantage of low cost school physicals during the months of July and August at the Cicero Health Department Clinic, 2250 S. 49th Ave.

Physicals are being offered for children and students in daycare, preschool, kindergarten, sixth grade, high school and for participants in sports.

All physicals include urinalysis, hemoglobin testing and immunizations. Those receiving a physical should bring immunization records.

The physicals are being offered from 4 to 7 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Appointments are necessary and proof of residency is required.

The cost for the check-up is $15 during the months of July and August. A lead test is being offered for $6 and a tuberculosis test for $10.
