Business owners invited to new discussion group

Published: Friday, July 5, 2013 2:10 p.m. CST

LISLE – There will be a meeting place for small- to mid-size business owners to get feedback and advice in Lisle beginning this month.

The Peer Mastermind Group will have an informational meeting at 8 a.m. July 24 at XNet Information Systems, 3080 Ogden Ave., featuring Ellen Huxtable, owner of Advantage Business Concepts in Batavia.

The discussion group is for business owners and decision makers who have a question that can’t be solved by talking with employees, Huxtable said. It is a group that will give business owners from noncompetitive markets a forum to receive feedback in a confidential environment, she said.

The group will meet the fourth Wednesday of every month from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and will consist of 12 people or fewer.

The program costs $50 a month and $600 a year.

“It gives people the opportunity to be honest and straightforward to get something off their chest,” Huxtable said.

She said the goal is to have a group of people from a range of industries who can benefit from new ideas.

For information, call Ellen Huxtable at 630-879-6511 or visit advantage-biz.com/resources/peer-mastermind-group-lisle.
