Storm leaves fallen branches and power outages in Westmont

WESTMONT – Monday's storm resulted in fallen branches and spot outages, according to Westmont Village Manager Ron Searl.

"Area wide, there are about 68,000 people without power" Searl said, adding that many outages are closer to the city limits near Downers Grove.

Searl said firefighters were out early Tuesday checking on neighborhoods for any more damage.

A power outage map from ComEd showed that at least 230 Westmont customers were affected Tuesday.
