Lombard men charged after police find nearly 400 grams of marijuana in home

LOMBARD – Two Lombard men are charged with drug-related offenses following an investigation by the Villa Park Police Department, which was prompted when officers learned that one of the suspects was allegedly selling marijuana to students at Willowbrook High School.

At 8 p.m. June 14, Villa Park and Lombard police officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of South Westmore Avenue. During their search, they found 391 grams of marijuana, 11 cubes of sugar laced with LSD and several pieces of drug paraphernalia.

Joseph M. Sheer, 20, of Lombard was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, a class three felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor.

Christopher M. Kozem, 38, of Lombard was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, a class three felony; possession of a controlled substance, a class four felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor.

Both men were transported to DuPage County Jail.
