ROSELLE – Man's best friend would love to listen to a story.

Kids can now read to a certified therapy dog at the Roselle Public Library.

Children ages 6 to 12, can participate in this opportunity to build a special bond with a dog, improve confidence and sharpen reading skills, according to a Roselle Public Library news release. Kids are invited to bring a favorite book or read a book from the library.

Read to a Dog sessions are held from 4 to 5 p.m. every Monday in July.

For information about registration, contact the library at 630-529-1641 ext. 351 or visit www.roselle.lib.il.us/kids. The library is located at 40 S. Park St. in Roselle.
