Lombard police department to run DUI, seatbelt crackdown

LOMBARD – This weekend, members of the Lombard Police Department will run a four-hour, heightened enforcement of impaired drivers and seatbelt law violators along Roosevelt Road.

From 11 p.m. Saturday until 3 a.m. Sunday, officers will be stationed along Roosevelt Road near Fairfield Avenue where they will be watching for impaired drivers.

When going out, the Lombard Police Department recommends groups designate one person to be a sober driver, use a taxi service and always wear seatbelts.
