La Grange resident becomes president of Illinois State Bar Association
LA GRANGE – La Grange resident Paula H. Holderman became the 137th president of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) last Friday at the organization's annual meeting in Lake Geneva, Wis.
Holderman, the chief attorney development officer for Winston & Strawn in Chicago, will be responsible for ISBA's professional development and training for its 900 lawyers. She will concentrate on four projects, including member services and diversity. With her guidance, ISBA launched a summer legal immersion program for high school students.
“We will show the legal community that ISBA membership is not only relevant, but the one membership that an Illinois lawyer needs,” Holderman said in a release.
