LISLE – The Disaster Loan Outreach Center at the Lisle Police Department, 5040 Lincoln Ave., will cease operations on June 28 at the close of business due to a decrease of activity, according to the Small Business Administration.

The Small Business Administration said those affected by the severe storms and flooding should visit the center before it closes to obtain information about the disaster assistance program.

The center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

To apply for the disaster assistance program, applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela, or visit one of the remaining recovery centers for assistance.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is July 9. The deadline to return economic injury applications is February 10, 2014.

For more information call 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing), or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. Loan applications can be downloaded from www.sba.gov.
