Learn tips for grilling great steak June 27 in Lisle

LISLE – Fireplace and Chimney Authority will host a class for backyard cooks to learn how to grill up steak, as well as other delicious entrees June 27.

Fireplace and Chimney Authority, 1702 Ogden Ave., will host the grilling class, which will feature Chef Phil, from 6 to 9 p.m. The cost to attend is $60 per person and includes all food and drinks.

The class will start with instruction on an appetizer of Asian grilled pork tenderloin and Oriental noodles. The featured salad will be grilled spinach with hot bacon dressing.

Succulent entrees include char-grilled filet mignon, slow roasted strip loin, gas grilled porterhouse, braised Brussels sprouts with onion, and macaroni and cheese with grilled salmon. The class ends with a dessert of grilled apples with snickers.
