Appointments being accepted for community blood drive

LOMBARD – Lombard's third blood drive of the year is scheduled for July 10 at Village Hall and Yorktown Center. Appointments to donate are now being accepted.

The blood drive will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Yorktown Center near mall entrance 5. The drive will then be continued at Lombard's Village Hall, 255 E. Wilson Ave., from 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Appointments can be made online at heartlandbc.org, or by calling Carol Bauer, blood drive coordinator, at 630-620-5712.

All donors will be entered into a raffle to win a Yorktown Center gift card, a coupon for a free pint of Culver's Frozen Custard and an Oberweis gift card.
