Villa Park, Elmhurst libraries to host chess club

VILLA PARK – Chess players between the ages of 7 and 14 years old will have the opportunity to practice and learn new skills during a chess club at the Villa Park and Elmhurst public libraries this month.

Chess coach Ed Thomas will facilitate practice sessions from 7 to 8 p.m. June 28 and July 19 at the Villa Park Public Library, 305 S. Ardmore Ave. The chess club will meet at the Elmhurst Public Library, 125 S. Prospect Ave., from 7 to 8 p.m. July 5.

Villa Park residents are reminded to bring their library cards to the sessions in Elmhurst, as well.
