ELMHURST – The Stone Open Golf Tournament is looking for players and sponsors for its 25th annual outing.

All proceeds from the joint effort between the Elmhurst YMCA and the Ray Stone family go to the Elmhurst YMCA's Scholarship Fund. The fund benefits local youth, families and seniors who would not otherwise be able to take part in YMCA programs.

The event includes lunch, 18 holes of golf, dinner, raffle drawings, on-course contests and more. Through July 5, single golfers can register for $125 each, a group of four costs $500 and dinner-only tickets are $40 each. After July 5, prices increase. Many sponsorship opportunities also remain.

The tournament is July 20 at the Maple Golf Club in Wood Dale. Call Angie Flesch at 630-929-2480 for reservations, sponsorship information or questions.
