Alexander Hamilton impersonator to speak on Fourth of July

DOWNERS GROVE – Patriotic revelers can enjoy a historic performance following the downtown Fourth of July parade at the park district's annual Independence Day Celebration.

The free event at 3 p.m. July 4 at Veterans Memorial Pavilion at Fishel Park honors America's birthday with a patriotic speech by founding father Alexander Hamilton, as portrayed by Terry Lynch.

Hamilton was Secretary of the Treasury under President George Washington. He also founded of the nation's financial system and the Federalist Party, the U.S.'s first political party.
