IKEA Bolingbrook, Illinois State Police to host child's safety event

BOLINGBROOK – The Illinois State Police will lead a child's safety event 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 29 at IKEA Bolingbrook, 750 E. Boughton Road.

At the Identification and Safety Belt fair, children three and over will receive a free identification card, have their fingerprints taken, and get the chance to sit in an Illinois Tollway snow plow or H.E.L.P. truck. 

Additionally, officers will be on-hand checking child’s safety seats to ensure it’s installed correctly.

The event will take place at the IKEA restaurant.
