Glen Ellyn seeks public input on downtown signage designs
GLEN ELLYN – Glen Ellyn residents, businesses and property owners are invited to participate in a survey to help the village choose a final design for proposed downtown signs.
The survey is part of a wayfinding and signage study that was recommended as part of Glen Ellyn's 2009 Downtown Strategic Plan. The goal of the study is to improve the village's economic viability by better directing downtown visitors to shops, parking facilities and more.
The study began with a request for design proposals for signs from various firms. From those submissions, the village chose The Lakota Group and Western Remac to work on the project.
