Elmhurst Cougars 11U go 5-0 to win tournament

The Elmhurst Cougars 11U baseball team captured their first tournament win of the season on June 9.

The Cougars won the Warrenville Big Hit Tournament, going 5-0 on the weekend. Early in the tournament they beat cross-town rivals Elmhurst Extreme 9-6, Blue Chip Select 10-8 and Huntley Blue 1-0. In the semifinals the Cougars knocked off the Glendale Heights Titans 9-6 and beat Blue Chip Select 10-9 in the championship game.
