Bolingbrook cops: Home robbed, $21,000 in valuables stolen

BOLINGBROOK – About $21,000.00 worth of valuables were reported stolen from a Bolingbrook home June 10, according to the Bolingbrook Police Department.

A residential burglary was reported in the 600 block of Preston Drive about 3 a.m June 10. The homeowner discovered that the front door was forced open, several rooms were rummaged through and numerous pieces of jewelry, a coat, trading cards, Mac Power book and video game system were stolen, according to police.

The estimated value of the stolen goods is $21,000, police said.

The incident remains under investigation.
