Wheaton public Library offering adult literacy tutoring workshop

WHEATON – The Wheaton Public Library is offering opportunities for people to train as adult literacy tutors and "change someone's future," according to a Literacy DuPage release.

Literacy DuPage, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching English to non-native speakers, says that they have 175 adults currently waiting for a tutor. The Wheaton Public Library is offering tutor training and information workshops on July 11, 15, 18, 22 and 25 and Aug. 5. Each event begins at 6 p.m. and lasts until 9 p.m.
