WHEATON – The grassy fields of Cantigny Park in Wheaton will be filled with music this summer with the addition of three symphony concerts starting June 22, according to a park release.

The Park will host three evening concerts, beginning with the Elmhurst Orchestra June 22, followed by the West Suburban Symphony July 13 and the DuPage Symphony July 27. The events will take place on the lawn outside the First Division Museum.

The Elmhurst Orchestra will perform a "Brass Bonanza," conducted by Dr. Stephen Alltop, featuring fanfares, folk songs, movie themes, marches and more. West Suburban Symphony will conduct "Cinema Classics," including a selection of movie themes and the DuPage Symphony will present "With a Gypsy Flair!" which includes a number of colorful works.

Each concert begins at 8 p.m. and costs $12 in advance or $18 the day of the show. Cantigny Plus members receive a reduced rate of $10 or $15. Tickets for all three concerts are available online at cantigny.org, by phone at 630-260-8162 or at the park in the Cantigny shop or parking booth.
