Letter: State rep seeks residents' input

To the Editor: Jobs and economic opportunity are of paramount concern to me and to my constituents. As we work to get the state and nation out of an economic slump that has lasted for years and we debate policies at the state capitol that will affect our economy, it is vital that I get the input of those I represent – from employers, employees and taxpayers.

To help me gather input on economic development concerns and priorities, I have formed an Economic Development Advisory Committee.

As a state representative, it is my goal to be the most open and accessible advocate for our citizens that I can be. But this cannot be achieved by me alone. It takes the active participation of members of the community, and I urge you to participate in the Economic Development Advisory Committee or give me a call at 708-562-6970 if you'd like to share your priorities or ask any questions.

State Rep. Kathleen Willis
