Disabled students receive $50,000 in scholarships from Marianjoy Rehab Hospital

WHEATON – Twenty students with physical disabilities were awarded $50,000 in scholarships from the Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, according to a hospital release.

Students from Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Bartlett, Aurora, Naperville, Glenview and Villa Park were given the college scholarships at a reception June 13. They received the money through the Marianjoy Scholarship Program.

Marianjoy is a nonprofit teaching hospital in Wheaton, according to the hospital's website. The institution is dedicated to providing care and rehabilitation to survivors of stroke, brain injuries and more. To learn more about the hospital, visit www.marianjoy.org.
