Cosley Zoo to host "a wild wine tasting experience"
WHEATON – Fans of animals and a fine glass or two of wine are in for a treat at the Cosley Zoo later in July.
The zoo will host its fifth annual Cosley Uncorked wine tasting event from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 18, according to a Wheaton Park District release. Guests will be able to go through the zoo after hours while enjoying more than 40 different wines, hors d'oeuvres and live music. The first 250 registered guests will receive a Cosley Zoo collectible wine glass for sampling.
Tickets for the event are $35 per person or $50 per couple. The evening is open to adults 21 and over. The wine will be provided by Famous Liquors, which will also sell wine on site with 10 percent of all sales benefitting Cosley. Food will be provided by My Chef, Inc. of Naperville, and Lisa McClowry and Thomas Linsk will entertain event attendees.
