LEMONT – A man is missing part of his ear after a fight broke out at 1:16 a.m. June 9 while two weddings were taking place simultaneously at Crystal Grand Banquets in Lemont.

The incident started when one wedding party was dancing "the train" and entered the other wedding party's banquet room, according to Lemont Police Commander Greg Smith. Later, two men from the party doing the Conga and one from the other party got into an argument in the bathroom that led to shoving.

The argument spilled into the reception area, where the one man pushed one of the other men into a glass table and threw a bottle at his head, according to the police report. He then pushed the other man into another glass table and kicked him in the head.

The unknown offender left in his car. When police arrived, the two men chose not to press charges, according to the police report.
