Riverside Public Library to unveil Higgins Glass mobile Monday evening

RIVERSIDE – The Riverside Public Library, 1 Burling Road, will unveil a mobile by the Higgins Glass studio donated in memory of longtime Riverside resident Margaret Andersen, who died last year. The event will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the library's Great Room.

Renowned for its glass creations, the Higgins Glass Studio has been located in Riverside since 1966. The studio was formed by Frances and Michael Higgins, who met at the Chicago Institute of Design.

A reception will follow the unveiling. Members of the public are invited to attend.
