D-86 looks to improve transparency
HINSDALE – In the April election for school board, "Friends for District 86" ran on a platform that called for fiscal responsibility, community collaboration and an increase in transparency.
One of those issues was brought to light last week as the District 86 Board of Education addressed transparency and agreed to allow the public to have access to agenda items and documents at the same time the board does.
This does not include, however, confidential or legal documents.
