Bensenville schools provide free meals for children under 18

BENSENVILLE – Free breakfast and lunch is available to children under the age of 18 Mondays through Fridays at Blackhawk Middle School and W.A. Johnson School. Children do not need to be attending summer school to get the free meals.

Starting this week and going through July 2, breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. at W.A. Johnson School, 252 Ridgewood Ave., and from 8:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Blackhawk Middle School, 250 S. Church Road. Lunch will be served at both locations from 11:50 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.

Participants must check in at the school office to receive meals. This program is provided as part of the federal school lunch program while summer school is in session.
